Was this the greatest ever political speech?

Martin Luther King's immortal Vietnam speech on April 4, 1967 included the lines.....
'A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual death'

Dr. King was assassinated on April 4, 1968, in Memphis, Tenesee. He was posthumously awarded the Presedential Medal of Freedom by President Jimmy Carter in1977. Martin Luther King Day was established as a national holiday in the United States in 1986. In 2004, King was posthumously awarded a Congressional Gold Medal wikipedia
