Consciousness , Intuition and the Zone
These are some points I noted from a lecture by Ian Xel Lungold, Mayan Astrology,.
Mind is a tool and works at 24 frames per second….when things move beyond 24 frames per second we can not clearly differentiate between things, there are too many unexpected outcomes and we feel stress.
With stress kicks in the fight or flight response, which is a warning for us as to the ‘perceived danger’ of the situation.
When we are unable to respond in this way, say for instance for fear of losing our job, another response we may experience is unconsciousness (e.g. distractions,workaholic, habitual behaviour, etc)
Instead of going into fight or flight, you can also go into your intuition, and leave mind behind (in sports known as the Zone); everything goes into slow motion and all round awareness, knowing what to do automatically. Intuition is your own personal knowing and power.
Many athletes describe the effortless nature of their performance whilst achieving personal bests, people most successful in investments use their intuition.
Move past doing and thinking and just ‘be’, become one with the process.
If there is any fear or doubt associated with your thought then that is not your intuition but your mind.
‘What you pay attention to you become conscious of’
Piece of mind (intuition) = centredness = certainty = recognition of patterns.
